AO3 (duh)

currently watching: Rewatching Good Omens and old Qi reruns (my comfort food)

current favorite character: Right now I'm flipping between Xenk in dnd-hat and Hob in Sandman, but it changes regularly

current WIPs: Umm...not what you're going for here lol, but revising a paper on diversity equity and inclusion for telehealth in pediatric health care and drafting two other papers on treatments for achalasia and a randomized controlled diet modification study for treating eosinophilic esophagitis. Do those count?

I don't know a ton of people on here lol...maybe @qqueenofhades, @seiya-starsniper or @unknown-lifeform if you guys haven't done it and want to? :) no stress.

Phantomish Rogues

Team Phantom get ripped from their home universe into the DCverse. With no money or real ID's in this world. Now thats a problem.

Another big problem is that Danny is badly injured and his core kinda put him into a deep cryo sleep. He needs to rest and gather ectoplasm.

Bigger problem Team Phantom have no clue how to get home because they don't know how to decode the Fenton Portal blue-prints, not even Jazz who at the time didn't pay attention to her parents portal work anymore by the time they finished it. The only one who does have an idea is Danny!

Biggest problem, they landed in a place called Gotham that seems to be overrun with actual villains and heroes? (vigilantes). And for some odd reason many of them seem to find them no matter where the Team goes to hide.

Until they can get their hands on a safe space, tech, and money, Team Phantom might have to go a bit Rogue/Villainous if they wanna keep Danny safe until he wakes up.

hey, i just wanted to say thanks for even thinking about removing nods to embers in your fic. as a jewish fan it's incredibly difficult for me to know that embers is so wildly popular, even when the a/ns include the author talking about a specific nazi she admires and puts his words in zuko's mouth.

yes!! i love that description so much oml that is basically what i wanted for them when first playing with the idea for that au, i really love the idea of them both being incredibly single-minded on completing their mission, but also as time passes, while being made to live and work together, they come to begrudgingly respect each other's dedication and value for the decepticon cause ;D from how i've understood these two in tfa, i don't think they could ever fully trust each other on a deeper personal level, but they both know that they can depend on the other to not drag the mission down or make careless mistakes that could get them both caught, which is already a step up on closeness compared to,,all other tfa decepticons??.,

neither of them would ever admit to anything as autobot-ly sappy as being "friends" but really they are best friends but at the same time shockwave would punt soundwave into traffic if he could and soundwave seriously considers poisoning shockwave's energon multiple times per day, except they are both too useful for their common goal to actually get rid of

What if you wanted to knit but your body said "arthritis induced depressive episode ONLY" t-t

In my state of Not Knitting I've mostly been playing bideo wames but also decided to indulge in my favourite past time of reading multi million word Korean webnovels. One of said webnovels features a metric fuck ton of Hot Pink Yarn. And a man I'm very normal about knitting things for a man he's very normal about. Including a cardigan.

Do I in any way need a hot pink cardigan knit specifically to mimic the one from the novel? Absolutely not. But I Want It. (Also I've been wanting to knit a cardigan for like a year now and keep changing my mind)

In the novel, the yarn used is from a monster sheep that's later dyed hot pink. I'm not willing to use real wool for this, so instead I'm going with acrylic and got some of Hobbii's Fluffy Day in Deep Pink. Which is just an eye watering colour (canonically the hot pink yarn is painful to behold) and comes personally recommended from a friend of mine. I also got a roll of a glitter thread also sold through Hobbii in pink. Both to make the overall cardigan more obnoxious but also to give it more of a "this is wool from a monster sheep" and not just acrylic yarn.

As for the actual cardigan, it's described as a "Handmade Hot Pink Long Cardigan" "roomy and had big pockets" "(while a wip) an elaborate knitting pattern". There's enough wiggle room I can do basically anything I want with this. But my brain has latched on to the word "elaborate" and won't let go. So as soon as I get my hands on The Yarn, I'm going to swatch for this cardigan pattern published by Vogue Knitting.

It's quite possible this yarn does Not work for that pattern but I want to try it anyway just to suffer. And if it does work, I'll have to grade up the pattern, and potentially make changes to the length of the cardigan (I bought quite a bit more yarn than I thought I'd need just in case). But this pattern just Feels Right, the guy who knits is constantly wearing designer clothes so knitting an actual designer pattern is perfectly in theme. I've also been informed that the Fluffy Day yarn is incredibly warm so having a bit of open work would help with heat regulation.

If I complete this cardigan within the next ten years and have extra yarn left over I'll be sure to knit the matching hat (including a pom-pom), scarf long enough for several people to use, and fingerless gloves. All in hot pink so bright it's probably going to give me several headaches. Read S-Classes I Raised it's so good it'ssogood

OOO, I like the implication that the yokai trio are gonna watch their dad get devoured by Shredder and achieve the same effect the scrapped Shredder!Splinter arc we almost got!.... unless you're going in a different direction than canon 👀👀👀👀

Oh wow, I didn't even think about adapting the Shredder!Splinter plot in any way in the AU XD. But I've already mostly figured out how I wanna do the season one finale and beginning of season 2, and I don't wanna change it now soooo....

I'm actually gonna stick pretty close to canon, Draxum is gonna put on the Dark Armour only to, not too long after, get slurped like a Capri Sun and unceromoniously spit out, and then Shredder is gonna start running around wrecking shit. That still isn't gonna be too fun for the Drax Trio to witness, of course!

dear minecraft please no more mob votes. no more new mobs. please add things besides new mobs for a little while. fix the old ones instead. spiders are still sliding horizontally up walls. skeletons have no animation for drawing their bow and can shoot you while facing away from you. standard mobs have like a quarter as many bones as new mobs and no custom animations. let people vote for food instead or something
